Crep Protect, a world-famous sneaker care brand endorsed by DJ Khaled, launched a lead generation game (lead gen game) to tap into the growing sneakerhead community.

We helped Crep Protect develop its branded lead gen game by converting our fruit slicing game into a sneaker cleaning game.


The Crep Protect game was designed to:

  • Collect user leads as part of the brand’s event-based marketing campaign
  • Give fans, especially sneakerhead millennials, a fun way to connect with the brand

Project Details

Lead gen game goals:

  • Develop a lightweight branded game suitable for tradeshows and other event gatherings
  • Introduce a registration functionality into the new game
  • Connect the game to our cloud-based lead gen system to seamlessly collect and export lead information

Lead Gen Games Solution

We reskinned and customized our existing fruit-slicing game into the branded game.

Original Game: Fruit Blade

New Lead Gen Game: Crep Ninja, a sneaker cleaning game

  • Game is about brushing sneakers instead of slicing fruits (designed to resemble the brand’s nature of business)
  • Ketchup bottles are used instead of bombs to represent dirt that will ruin sneakers
  • Shoe brush replaces the slicing effect

Gameplay: Players must brush dirty sneakers to earn points.

Registration Form: To start the game, players must first register their name, email, and contact number.

All collected leads are processed and compiled via our cloud-based lead gen system.

Reskinning/Rebranding Features:

  • Replaced game objects: from fruits to sneaker products, from bombs to ketchup bottles
  • Displayed Crep Protect’s logo throughout the game
  • Replaced background image

Deployment Strategy

Crep Ninja was deployed as an online activation game for the brand’s long term marketing campaign. It was also used within trade shows and other marketing events throughout the campaign.

Event participants can access the game through their smartphones, tablets, and also laptops.
