Android games run on the Android operating system. This is the most widely distributed mobile operating system, reaching over 2.5 billion active devices worldwide.

Android games are typically packaged in an APK format. The games can be distributed on different app stores such as Google Play, Amazon App Store, GetJar, and other 3rd party Android-powered stores.

Android games can also be distributed on pre-installed smartphones and tablets. Hence, they can be used for isolated distribution systems such in events/exhibitions, within the backseat of taxies, within in-flight entertainment systems, and more.

Our Android games are written in HTML5. They are converted into Android APK format using our in-house optimization technology.

This also gives our clients the flexibility of launching the same version on the web, or within other 3rd party systems.

Revenue generation

There are many ways to generate revenue from Android games. For example, if you wish to distribute the games on Google Play / Amazon App Store, you can integrate rewarded video ads such via Admob, Mopub, Chartboost, Vungle, Ironsource and other mobile networks. You may also sell these games as paid apps on the stores. All the revenue goes back to you.

Another way to generate revenue, is to bundle these Android games as part of a subscription service in a 3rd party system. This method is normally done by clients in the systems integration business.

If revenue generation is not your goal, that's fine too. We have clients who licensed our Android games for branding and marketing reasons. Examples include deployments in events/exhibitions/trade expos.

How do I generate leads with Android games?

If you're using Android games or APKs as part of a marketing campaign (eg: in events/exhibitions), using leadgen is a great tool to boost your campaign.

As an option, we can implement a lead generation form to collect user information. A "sign up to play" form pops up at the beginning or end of the game experience, depending on what you need.

The data collected will be GDPR-compliant and only with the permission of the user. We will also prepare a GDPR compliant checkbox, privacy policy, and terms and conditions for the campaign.

Can the Android APK work in offline mode?

Yes. For offline environments such as events or exhibitions without internet access, we can prepare a special offline version to be pre-installed as Android APK or iOS native app.

In this case, the leads collected shall be stored locally in the device. The game shall run as usual, without requiring any internet access.

To extract the data, it can be exported into Excel, or synced to a cloud server once the device is connected to the Internet.
