Rewards are purely optional. It depends on what you can afford to give away. For online deployments, some clients give out QR codes, coupons or gift codes to increase consumer loyalty. These codes are surfaced towards the end of the game, after the trivia game ends. The user can choose to screencap the codes on their phone, and keep it for future use. In other cases, we can automatically send an email or text message to the user, containing the codes.
For on-site activations, our clients typically give away physical gifts such as keychains and company merchandise. In such events, the Scratch and Win game is typically played on a large interactive screen or kiosk tablet. After that, the usher or brand representative awards the prize to the user.
Note, that rewards are an optional feature. Not all games have to give out rewards.
If the game is deep and repetitive enough, it makes sense to add a leaderboard as part of a competition. We have a cloud based leaderboard solution, that we can implement into every game.
Rank users based on their high score achievement. Top scores can be sorted by all-time, weekly or daily. There's also the ability to reset the leaderboard at pre-determined times.
