What are fruit ninja games?

Fruit ninja games involve slicing fruits that appear on a screen. For each fruit sliced to perfection, the player earns points. If players are able to slice multiple fruits in quick succession, they earn bonus points. To avoid losing the game, players also have to avoid slicing flying bombs.

As the player progresses further in the game, each successful slice fills up a Frenzy Bar. When that bar is maxed, the player enters Frenzy Mode. This is where a barrage of fruits start flying around the screen. It's now open season to slice them all en masse.

Every 60 seconds, a Boss Fruit will appear. In order to defeat the Boss Fruit, players have to slice the boss fruit repeatly until its health goes to zero. The Boss Fruit is a really tough fruit that takes real effort to defeat.

Our fruit ninja games are often used in trade shows, exhibitions and corporate events to captivate audiences.

Case Study - Pain Point Eliminator - Fruit Ninja Game For Corporate Training

As part of a corporate event for sales associates, we built a game called Pain Point Eliminator. To score points, players slice away "customer pain point" icons within the game. This ties in well with the sales training process, where associates are asked to identify customer pain points and attempt to solve them.

The associates enter their name and email address to register. This puts them into direct competition against other participants. The event organizer receives access to a backend CMS from which they are able to view, manage and export the leaderboard data into Excel. They're also able to reset the leaderboard for multiple groups of participants on the same day.

In order to save development cost and reduce time-to-market, we reskinned our existing Fruit Slice Frenzy game engine. We changed the graphics of the game, while maintaining the core gameplay experience.

At the end of the experience, the event organizer announces the top 10 winners based on the data pulled from the CMS. Winners are awarded prizes as a sign of appreciation.

Case Study - Intel Memory Challenge - Game For Trade Show Booth

As part of a corporate event for executives of Intel, we built a memory match game. The game was deployed as a warm-up event for participants, to get them excited before the actual event begins. Players attempt to match Intel branded product cards in the least amount of moves to generate the highest score.

In order to save development cost and lower time-to-market, we reskinned our existing Memory Match game engine. We changed the graphics of the game, while maintaining the core gameplay experience. Hence, we were able to pass along cost savings of up to 80% to the client, compared to if the game was built from scratch.

The game also comes integrated with our cloud leaderboard system, which allows users to register, play and rank competitively with other participants at the event. The event organizer receives access to a backend CMS from which they are able to view, manage and export the leaderboard data into Excel. They're also able to reset the leaderboard for multiple groups of participants on the same day.

We built a personality quiz game for Toyota as part of a corporate activation event. Event attendees were primarily sales associates, that are being trained to visualize the buying process from a consumer standpoint. At the end of the game, the game recommended a Toyota model that suits their profile.

Case Study - Game Promote An Optical Retail Group

We collaborated with a large optical retail group in Asia to create an exciting game for their corporate rewards programme. Using our 3D game Drift Boss, we reskinned the car models, the roads, the backgrounds and the game title. We then replaced the background music with a more contemporary hip-hop track, to cater to a younger audience.

Case Study: Trade Show Game For A Pizza Brand

The campaign featured our game Pepperoni Gone Wild, which was fully reskinned into a different look and feel for the client.

Case Study - Trivia Game For Corporate Event

We helped a client launch an automotive trivia history at a recent corporate event in the US.

Event attendees answer a series of 20 highly specific automotive history questions. Questions range from the history of older vehicle models to new and emerging brands from the electric vehicle segment. Prizes are awared to players who answer at least 10 questions correctly.

To develop the game, we used our Trivia game engine, which we adapted to fit the client's objectives. The art direction resonated with history buffs. The questions were tough questions that not everyone had the answer to.
