Digicel currently provides telecommunications services to 14 million subscribers in 33 markets across the Caribbean, Central America, and the Asia Pacific regions. As part of their commitment to enhance user experience, the complete communications company launched a HTML5 games portal through their Digicel Live service.
Using our white label solution, we assisted Digicel to set up a fully functional games portal. Our turnkey service includes a wide selection of games, billing system integration, highly optimized templates, and data gathering features.
For a 24-hour subscription fee, Digicel allows their users to select and access a game from the games portal. Once a Digicel customer starts a game session, the subscriber’s account will be charged for the current day.
Additionally, some of their games have tournament play periods that usually last between 3 to 14 days. Players can play at their own convenience. Their scores will be compared to players across all Digicel regions. During the tournament period, a prize will be given to the player with the highest score at the end of each day.
Digicel also offers free-to-play games, as promotional events for a limited time, to introduce new players to a game. Eventually, some of these players convert into loyal subscribers.
