Among many other things, LiveTribe enables the public to interact with brands, products and service providers ranging from financial institutions to your local supermarket by taking part in paid online surveys, product reviews, opinion polls and many other research activities. LiveTribe lets you get paid or rewarded for voicing your opinion.
To take this to the next level, LiveTribe now offers free online games for users to win cash prizes every month. We believe this is the next step towards brand loyalty building.
We are happy to have worked with LiveTribe on three of our hit games titled “Sushi Sensei”, “Hexable” and “4 In A Row”.
Sushi Sensei is a swipe and slice game where you have limited time to score as high as you can while avoiding those nasty bombs. If you work on your slicing technique, you can score even more since combo points are awarded for slicing 3 or more items in one move.
In Hexable you have to drag and drop the hexagon pieces onto empty slots. You score by eliminating full lines and clearing the tiles. Bonus points are awarded by clearing 2 or more lines with a single move. You lose when you run out of moves.
You have to beat your opponent by connecting four dots in a row either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. You can play against other players or AI bots. You can choose your own name and avatar before playing while the game features a chat system as well.
Games built with HTML5 are cross-platform.They can be accessed across various devices and browsers. Unlike web games built with Flash for example, HTML5 games will work without problems on virtually any operating system and without the need for additional plugins.
Moreover, games like these provide your community a fun reason to visit and interact with your website or company, even more so when they are coupled with opportunities to win prizes, like in the case with LiveTribe. They provide a great platform for organizing similar events which in turn can inspire loyalty among your users.
HTML5 games are a great lead-generation tool as well, by letting users enter or register their details when playing, you obtain information which can be used in future campaigns.
Making and delivering these games for LiveTribe was a great and mutually beneficial experience. As can be seen from this example, games can be a great way to attract and retain your website visitors or user base. Among other possibilities, these games also have the capacity to serve as reward systems, by forming leaderboards or competitions or handing out prizes by drawing a lucky player. If you need a game or two for a similar or any other purpose feel free to send us a message via our contact page.
