Monro is an American automotive service company that mainly provides car maintenance, repair, and tire services to its customers. We’ve developed a game that embodied the brand’s recognizable qualities and service offerings. The game’s purpose is to promote brand awareness and car safety to its target audience.
Monro’s Stay on the Road is a racing game, where players must reach the finish line safely. The game has one simple rule—avoid crashing into cars and other obstacles.
Built using our game engine Confident Driver, this game reskin project has put together gameplay elements that feature the brand’s identity. In the original game, obstacles were meant to force the player to switch between four available lanes to avoid accidents. These obstacles were reskinned to represent problems serviced by Monro such as engine trouble, low tire pressure, and low oil level.

An option to sign up for the game and record your scores at the leaderboards is also available. This allows Monro to rank the players by highest score and time spent on the game.
Stay on the Road showcases how games can be used to promote the services of a business by incorporating relevant elements of the brand to the game design. The visual and audio elements of Confident Driver were reskinned to become a completely new game that fits the Monro brand.
