Capitol Optical, an eye care expert with more than 15+ outlets in Singapore, put together a gamification-based marketing campaign to take advantage of its well-established online presence.

We helped the company reskin and customize one of our most popular driving games into a loyalty programme, where players can earn freebies and discounts.

Our objectives were the following:

Original Game: Drift Boss

Game Development: Reskinning + Game Mechanic Customization

New Game: Capitol Optical Drift Boss

Deployment: The game was deployed on the client’s rewards platform, MYCAPITOL.

Game Reskinning:

We made the following changes.

  • Added several Capitol Optical logo designs throughout the game
  • Added Capitol Optical eyewear and lens brands to car models
  • Modified background music to match the company’s marketing campaign
  • Modified the opening page to feature Capitol Optical

Game Rewards Customization

We integrated the new game with the company’s existing rewards programme. These included the following enhancements:

  • Customer Registration
  • Leaderboard System
  • Daily Rewards - players can collect prizes by logging in daily
  • Unlock achievements such as car models and car upgrades
  • Spin Rewards as a mini-game for additional prizes


Capitol Optical Drift Boss is a 3D driving game where the player drives through a one-way lane and collects coins for points.

The games starts with the player selecting a variety of branded drift cars from eyewear brands such as Acuvue, Freshkon, Hoya, Bausch and Lomb, and Alcon.

Then the player taps to drift the car to narrow curves and corners. The game ends when the car falls off the lane.

Viewer Journey

  1. The casual viewer sees the social media post about the game.
  2. The viewer goes to the client’s website.
  3. The viewer sees the rewards platform, then signs up.
  4. The viewer clicks and plays the game on the rewards platform.
  5. After the game, the viewer receives in-game points.
  6. The viewer redeems items, discounts, or special offers using the in-game points
  7. The viewer waits for the next day and repeats Step3 to earn more points from daily rewards
