Axis, an Indonesian telecommunication company with over 20 million subscribers, recently launched a portal called Galaxis that features a unified platform for the latest gaming news, videos, and game vouchers. The website also includes a game library to give users a way to participate to win prizes.
We provided a majority of the games featured in Galaxis. To ensure everyone will have a game to enjoy, our titles cover multiple genres, from casual to story-rich games, including Indonesian-inspired games like Ojek Pickup and Guess the Celebrity.
Galaxis was created with the intention of building a website for gamers who are looking to find all the essential gaming information on one page. The portal expanded further to add game streams, promos, a list of Android games and most recently, an HTML5 game library.
We assisted Axis in developing their game library by supplying a wide variety of games. We also pioneered two Indonesian-centered games. The first is Ojek Pickup, which was created with inspiration from Go-Jek, a popular Indonesian specific ride hailing platform. The second is Guess the Celebrity, a guessing game that features Indonesia’s most iconic stars.

Axis was looking for a way to engage their user base and keep them interested in Galaxis. Through this idea, they decided to implement a time-based reward system which encourages users to spend more time on Galaxis.
Once the reward system was in place, they marketed Galaxis through SMS Blast and advertised the 5GB data prize for the ranking players. This paved the way for Axis to earn more revenue from their gaming portal.
In the ever growing market of mobile gaming, Axis has found a perfect platform to not only grow their revenue but also create a lasting relationship with their users. The Galaxis website generates additional revenue and viewer retention through its HTML5 game library.
By including a leaderboard system in their game website, Axis created online contests to reward players. This in turn further increases the traffic driven to Galaxis, while retaining the current user base.
