The situation |
Game developers find it tough these days. If you find yourself launching a great game , but barely making enough money to cover your expenses, it's probably because you lack a comprehensive marketing strategy. marketJS connects you to publishers. These companies have the marketing muscle (skills, budget and audience) to make your game a success. |
Who are the publishers? |
They are medium to large companies with unique distribution channels. They are interested in licensing your game. |
What does marketJS do? |
a) We showcase your game |
How do I submit my game? |
a) You add a game (or a demo) to our platform. |
What's the catch? |
We don't charge for transactions. We only ask that you help spread the word. |
What kind of licensing terms can I set? |
Normally, it is non-exclusive, exclusive or revenue share with ads/microtransactions. You can also choose to sell the entire source code to them. We're very flexible. |
A big publisher just messaged me, they're interested! |
Yay! Now you talk to that publisher directly via the marketJS private messaging system. Normally, if discussions go well, you'll end up signing an agreement provided by them or yourself. You'll also have to work with their QA. As a game developer, it's your duty to sell good stuff. |
Do you have enough publishers coming in? |
Yes we do. We have great relationships with them, and bring in more each day. |
How much can I make as a game developer? |
It depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay for. It could be hundreds, to thousands. Quality prevails! |
What game engines do you support? |
We support all engines. We'll figure out a way to cram your demo into the platform, don't worry! We have good technical chops to do this. |
This is awesome! How can I sign up? |
You can sign up here. |
